Loota ("we", "us") is a mobile discovery game: you point your camera at objects in the real world, our AI identifies them, and you collect them. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built Loota to be fun and light on data — we don't sell your information, ever.
To identify an object, your photo is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through our backend. It is processed solely to return an identification and is not used to serve you ads or sold to anyone. The AI provider processes the image to generate a result and does not use it to train its models under our commercial terms.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app run:
We may also disclose information if required by law.
We keep your account and collection data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact). Scanned images are retained only as needed to provide and improve the identification feature.
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls, database row-level security) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Loota is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
You can access, correct, or delete your information, and revoke camera or location permissions at any time in your device settings. To make a request, email us below.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
